Austroraptor

Austroraptor was a sizeable member of the raptor family, closely related to Velociraptor, Deinonychus, and Utahraptor. Reaching lengths of up to 20 feet, it stood out for its more lightweight, streamlined build compared to other large dromaeosaurs. Its long, narrow snout and relatively short arms made it quite different from its relatives, showing just how diverse raptors could be. This fast-moving predator lived in what is now Argentina, proving that deadly raptors ruled not just the Northern Hemisphere, but South America too.
