Product Details
Majungasaurus was a fearsome abelisaurid theropod, closely related to Carnotaurus. It stood out with a single horn atop its head, a short yet deep skull, and notably small, backward-facing arms. This carnivorous dinosaur roamed what is now Madagascar, making it one of the top predators of its island ecosystem.
- Scientific Name: Majungasaurus crenatissimus ("Mahajanga lizard, most notched" - referring to the Mahajanga province where the dinosaur was discovered, and the many notches in its serrated teeth)
- Characteristics: This Majungasaurus toy figure captures the unique traits of this ancient predator with impressive detail and accuracy. From the small horn crowning its thick, deep skull to its unusually tiny arms, every feature reflects what makes this dinosaur so distinctive.
