Product Details
Plop this magic rock on any printed surface watch it demonstrates a cool fiber-optic effect. It projects images to the surface of this naturally occurring mineral.
This unusual effect is the result of this rock's amazing fiber optic properties! Ulexite or hydrated sodium calcium borate hydroxide was named after its discoverer, the German chemist Georg Ludwig Ulex (1811-1883).
Ulexite results from the evaporation of water in intermittent lakes. When cut across the grain with flat polished faces, the rock gains the ability to project an image of the surface behind it.
Stone size varies from 1-1.5 inches
Great stocking stuffer or Easter Basket addition.
