Le Nain Jaune - Yellow Dwarf Game

This clever card game from France is called "Yellow Dwarf" which is the nickname for the 7 of Diamonds. Players place a specific number of "counters" in each of the trays with the images of certain cards: 10 of Diamonds, Jack of Clubs, Queen of Spades, King of Hearts. and 7 of Diamonds. When any of these cards are played, whomever calls out the card first wins the counters in the tray. Each player tries to place as many of the cards in their hands in sequence such as 2-3-4-5-6, etc. When they cannot place the next card in the sequence, the next player has a chance to add as many of their cards to the sequence until they cannot continue. Then it moves to the next player. When the King is played or no more cards can be played, the next player begins the next sequence with whatever card they choose. As the 10 of Diamonds, Jack of Clubs, Queen of Spades, King of Hearts are played, players collect the counters. The person with the most counters wins.
